UNS C17300 Beryllium Copper Alloy, also known as CuBe2Pb, CDA 173, or Alloy 173, is a high-strength, free-machining copper-beryllium alloy that combines excellent mechanical strength, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and superior machinability.
With a small addition of lead (~0.2%), C17300 offers better machinability than C17200, while maintaining comparable hardness and conductivity-making it ideal for precision connectors, electronic components, injection mold inserts, and aerospace parts.

Manufactured according to ASTM B196 / B197 / B194, C17300 is widely used where high reliability, fatigue resistance, and dimensional accuracy are required.
