What Is 8011 Aluminum Foil?
8011 is a wrought aluminum alloy identified by its iron and silicon composition. It can be supplied in a soft annealed condition for flexible converting or in harder tempers where the finished product calls for more stiffness.
For packaging, the alloy designation is only the starting point. Buyers should also specify the foil gauge, acceptable pinholes, winding quality and any requirements for coating, printing or lamination.
