Hot-Rolled Mill Flat Bar
Hot-rolled flat bar is produced directly to a rectangular section during rolling.

Grade 304 is suitable for many general indoor, food-equipment and mild exterior applications. Grade 316L is generally considered where chloride exposure, humidity or process chemicals require increased localized-corrosion resistance.

The L grades have controlled lower carbon content.

The approximate theoretical weight can be calculated as:
