AISI 321H stainless steel (UNS S32109) is a high-carbon titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel designed for high-temperature structural applications up to 850–900°C. WHAT IS AISI 321H STAINLESS STEEL?

 

AISI 321H is the high-carbon version of 321 stainless steel (UNS S32109).

It is stabilized with titanium (Ti) to prevent chromium carbide precipitation during welding.

Key composition:

Chromium (Cr): 17–19%

Nickel (Ni): 9–12%

Carbon (C): 0.04–0.10% (higher than 321)

Titanium (Ti): Stabilizing element
