What is 309S Stainless Steel?
309S stainless steel is a low-carbon austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel designed for high-temperature service environments. With approximately 22–24% chromium and 12–15% nickel content, 309S provides excellent oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance compared with standard stainless steel grades such as 304 and 316.
