Production Process
1. Raw material preparation:
Select high-quality carbon steel billets as raw materials to ensure that their chemical composition and physical properties meet production requirements.The billets enter the production line through the feed port and are cut according to the required size for subsequent processing.
2. Pretreatment:
The billets are heated and cleaned to remove oil, scale and other impurities on the surface, making the surface of the billets smoother and preparing for subsequent cold rolling.The cleaned raw materials are also subject to cleanliness inspection to ensure good cleaning effect.
3. Pickling:
The pretreated billets will be pickled to further remove the scale and rust on the surface and improve the flatness and finish of the steel plate surface.
4. Cold rolling:
The pickled billets are fed into a multi-pass cold rolling unit for rolling. The cold rolling unit usually consists of 4-6 rolling mills, and the roller diameter of each rolling mill gradually decreases.The billets are rolled into the required thickness and width by pressing and stretching. During the cold rolling process, the steel plate can also be subjected to surface treatments such as embossing, trimming and polishing.
5. Annealing:
The steel plate after cold rolling is annealed, that is, the steel plate is heated to a certain temperature and then cooled in different ways to release the stress inside the material, reduce fatigue and stress concentration during processing, and improve the plasticity and toughness of the steel plate.
6. Quenching (if necessary):
In some cases, in order to further improve the hardness and strength of the steel plate, quenching treatment will be carried out. Quenching is to heat the steel plate to a certain temperature and then cool it quickly to keep the temperature of the surface and inside of the steel plate inconsistent, generate internal stress, and then improve the strength of the steel plate.
