16MnCr2NiMoV is a low-carbon Ni-Cr-Mo-V alloy carburizing steel, engineered for high-load gears, shafts, and heavy-duty mechanical components. It is designed to produce a hard, wear-resistant surface while retaining a tough, ductile core, ensuring reliability under cyclic stress.

The alloying system provides:

Chromium (Cr): enhances hardenability and wear resistance

Manganese (Mn): improves core toughness and strength

Nickel (Ni): increases impact resistance and fatigue life
